The Home Detox Protocol is very effective and can generally replace more expensive protocols that may have negative side effects, such as EDTA, DMSA and DMPS. Here are the main categories of toxins that we want to remove from our bodies: 1)Exotoxins and Endotoxins of pathogen origin. Pathogens include bac-teria, virus, fungus, and parasites. Both exo and endo toxins are present in and released not only by living organisms but by dying and dead organisms. 2)Immunoglobulins. Immunoglobulins are produced in our bodies for the purpose of disabling infection. They may stay in the body after they are no longer useful and needed and “gum up” body functions. 3)Metabolic by-products of ingestants. For a variety of reasons including incomplete digestion and allergic reactivity, things we eat (or ingest) may leave toxic by-products in the body. 4)Halogenated organic compounds. Halogens are any of the chemically active elements found in group VIIa of the periodic table. Three of these elements are particularly toxic and form organic compounds in the body: fluorine (symbol F), chlorine (Cl) and bromine (Br). 5)Volatile organic compounds. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are organic chemical compounds that have high enough vapour pressures under normal conditions to significantly vaporize and enter the atmos-phere. A wide range of carbon-based molecules, such as aldehydes, ketones, and hydrocarbons are VOC's. 6)Pain producing endogenous chemicals. Chemicals that the body itself produces can cause pain. Interleukin 6 is an example of an endogenous chemical, found in excessive amounts in immune-compromised pa-tients, that causes pain and health problems. 7)Fixed or circulating immune complexes. Immune complexes are formed when antibodies bind to antigen in order to disable it. “Antigen” is anything that shouldn't be in the body such as infections and toxins. Sea salt to taste Process the cilantro and flaxseed oil in a blender until the coriander is chopped. Add the garlic, nuts and seeds, and lemon juice and mix until the mixture is finely blended into a paste. Add a pinch to sea salt to taste and blend again. Store in dark glass jars if possible.
